A Senior Associate or Special Counsel – Migration & Employment Law

The Role

This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate, who is looking to join an inclusive and dynamic team.  The role is full-time however we are open to filling the role on a part-time basis (minimum 3 days per week) for the right person.  We also offer flexible working arrangements.

We assist both employer and employee clients with all aspects of the employment/workplace relationship and migration law.   Our work includes complex advice and litigated matters.

You will

  • supervise and manage lawyers in their day-to-day work;
  • work autonomoously; and
  • have access to the mentoring support you need to develop your career long- term.

The Firm

We are a boutique practice specialising in employment/industrial relations and migration law.  Our head office is in Sydney, and we have clients spread throughout Australia.  We also have an office in Darwin, Northern Territory. We provide high quality legal services and work closely with our clients.

About You

You will be skilled at supervising and managing lawyers, have an eye for detail, an understanding of the importance of providing exceptional service to clients, and a passion for migration law and employment/industrial relations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working as a solicitor in private practice in the areas of migration and employment law.

A transportable practice is an advantage but not essential.
